About Us
Welcome to Maandya, where timeless tradition meets modern fashion. We’re more than just a kurti brand — we’re curators of heritage, storytellers of art, and champions of a rare, beautiful legacy: Mandana art.
Our Heritage & Inspiration
Mandana is a traditional folk art form rooted in the rural landscapes of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Historically, village women would adorn mud walls and courtyard floors with intricate white-chalk designs, using motifs of flowers, animals, and geometric shapes
These patterns weren’t just decorative — they held spiritual meaning, symbolizing protection, prosperity, and celebration.
At Maandya, we bring this centuries-old craft to you in fabric form — preserving its soul, while giving it a wearable, modern twist.

Craftsmanship That Matters
Each Mandana motif on our kurtis is inspired by traditional designs, while being tailored for contemporary style.
Our artisans (many of whom are from communities deeply connected to the Mandana legacy) use techniques passed down through generations. The art of creating Mandana was often shared mother-to-daughter
Our Mission: Style with Purpose
Revive and preserve – We believe in giving Mandana art a new life. As traditional mud walls give way to concrete homes, the original art form is fading. Maandya works to keep its spirit alive.
Empower women artisans – By partnering with skilled artisans, especially women who carry this art in their blood, we support fair wages and sustainable livelihoods.
